Documentary Host / Producer
Chris Skeene
Chris Skeene was born in Irving, TX, and grew up in Lakeland, FL. Chris is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Photography. His photographic interests lie mainly in fine art and concert photography, and he displays his portfolio at www.chrisskeenephotography.com.
Chris has been collecting PEZ® since 2002. He started out buying them as gifts for his wife’s modest collection (she had 7 of them when they met), but his interest grew quickly, and before long Chris was organizing the growing collection, building shelves for them, and keeping track of which dispensers they were missing out of individual sets. Before long they were bidding on eBay auctions and keeping a database of their collection, and Chris became involved in the online PEZ communities. Now the collection has topped 900 dispensers, and they no longer consider it to be his wife’s collection, so much as it is both of theirs. (Although Chris is responsible for its organization, upkeep, and new purchases). Chris keeps his collection organized via a database, available to view online.
Director
Chris Marshall
Born and raised in Clinton, SC, Chris received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He began his film career working as a production assistant in New York on films such as Swimfan and 13 Going on 30. He has since written and directed dozens of short film and video projects and recently co-produced the indie feature film, "Actually, Adieu My Love." "PEZheads - The Movie," his first feature-length directorial effort, illustrates his love for quirky subject matter and character-based stories. See more at www.christopherpmarshall.com.
Chris Marshall only had one PEZ® dispenser (Yoda) when he started this documentary project. Since then his collection has grown, but he is still fighting the urge to develop a full-fledged collection.
Designer / Producer
Kendra Skeene
Kendra Skeene (wife of Chris Skeene) was born in Indiana, and was raised in Fort Myers, Florida. Kendra has a BFA in Electronic Intermedia from the University of Florida, and is currently a web designer for the state of Georgia. She has also worked as a computer applications instructor in a variety of software packages, and currently teaches web design courses online for Southeastern Technical College. Kendra maintains th business side of Pezhead Productions, as well as the graphic design work. Her freelance work is at www.idreaminblue.com.
Kendra had started a small PEZ® collection in high school, and by the time she met Chris Skeene in 2002, she had 7 dispensers. Since then she has watched the collection grow exponentially in the hands of her husband, who began buying them for her as gifts, and eventually started buying them for himself. She takes little part in the actual collecting process now, but rather sits back and watches it grow in the hands of her husband, every now and then making a small purchase herself.
